These activities have also just been fleshed out by Gerald's missions. Among these missions and activities we find Arena War and in particular the test Account to be given.

How does Countdown Arena work in GTA 5 Online?
In the countdown test, 2 to 16 players compete to be the last survivor. When the round begins, a random player will receive the bomb. They then have one minute to pass the bomb to an enemy competitor by hitting their vehicle. Once the time is up, the contestant carrying the bomb will be destroyed and eliminated from the match.
Eliminated players will then be forced to watch from the spectator box. They can, however, use traps, turrets, RC Banditos, and battle drones to damage the remaining opponents.
The bomb timer will gradually decrease by 5 seconds each time, until it reaches a minimum of thirty seconds. Note that if the bomb carrier is destroyed by other means (crash, other opponents' weapons...), the bomb will be given to another player, but the bomb's timer will not decrease by 5 seconds .
Once there is only one player or players from the same team left (depending on the chosen game mode), that player/team will win the round.
Of course, the Countdown event is not the only Arena War event, as there are a total of 9 different events.
