GTA 5 modding, why using mods and money glitch is forbidden? Many gamers are tempted to use mods and glitches in GTA 5 Online to make money faster or make life easier. However, this is prohibited by Rockstar Games and subject to ban.
Cheat codes are nothing new in GTA 5. Present for many episodes they are an integral part of the game experience in the story mode of Grand Theft Auto, allowing the craziest things. However, these are voluntarily integrated into GTA and are only available in the single player mode of the games.
It is therefore necessary to make the distinction between the cheat codes, wanted by Rockstar, and mods or glitches that can be banned from GTA 5.

Modding and glitches in GTA 5 Online, why are they prohibited?
As mentioned below the cheat codes are voluntary from Rockstar Games and are only available in the single player mode. The mods are modification of GTA 5 Online files without the consent of the publisher. Glitches are a bit different since they consist of performing certain in-game actions resulting in a bug beneficial to players. These last two cases are therefore banned by Rockstar Games since they are not wanted by the developers of GTA 5. They therefore violate the rules of use of the game which the player has accepted when launching GTA 5 for the first time and are thus permanently banned from the game.

Recently many players who used a glitch to get money easily have been banned from GTA 5 Online. So beware of players or websites promising you mountains and wonders with mods or glitches, it could cost you your GTA 5 account!
