A new Pokémon variant in Sword is an ice-type Black and White Darumarond and Darumacho. The evolution process is a bit different from Black and White, however, as you will need an Ice Stone to be able to evolve the Darumarond into Darumacho.
How to Evolve Darumarond into Galician Darmanitan in Pokemon Sword
To find the Ice Stone, you can try your luck at this wondrous location in Outrage Lake or go to Route 9. You'll need a Roton Bike with the Surf feature to get one of these, then Road. 9 will give you a guaranteed Ice Stone, while Lake of Outrage may be due to luck of the draw.
To find the Ice Stone on Route 9, drop down into the water, then head to the upper right corner and follow that path until you see something glowing in the water. It will be an ice stone.
Once you have the Ice Stone, you can use it on Darumarond and turn it into a Darmanitan. You don't have to worry about leveling them up, there is no level requirement for evolution to occur.
