Not only is Tusk a powerful support, it's also the only one with four consistently high evolutions. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to unlock Tusk Act 1, Act 2, Act 3, and Act 4. If you're looking for a list of all AUT stalls and how to get them, check out our guide here.
Defense Act 1
In order to get Tusk Act 1, you will need to find and dig up the item The Saint's Left Arm from the Sandy Debris in the Devil's Palm. There is an 8% chance that a pile of sand will hold the arm item, so you can dig for a while. Once you find it, make sure your character is Standless and use the item. This will give you Tusk Act 1.
Defense Act 2
Tusk Act 2 is the next evolution of this line. To get it, locate NPC Johnny Joestar in Devil's Palm and talk to him. Make sure you have Tusk Act 1 equipped. Johnny Joestar has a 60% chance to spawn every 8 minutes. Accept and complete his quest and he will reward you with Tusk Act 2. The quest is detailed below.
- Johnny Joestar will say, “I see you gained an ability similar to mine from the corpse. In order to improve your "abilities", you must refine your nails. To master your nails, you need to "surf" the field for five minutes. »
- Select the "Agree" dialog option to accept the quest
- To complete it, use the Nail Glide move by pressing the V key on your keyboard to move around the area for a total of 600 seconds
- Keep in mind that leaving Devil's Palm will restart any progress you've made in the quest
- Once you complete the 600 second requirement, Tusk Act 2 will automatically appear

Defense Act 3
Unlike other Tusk Acts, there are no direct NPC quests to complete for Act 3. Instead, you're going to want to drop your health above zero but below 150 with Tusk Act 2 equipped, then use your Stand's Dark Determination move. by pressing H on your keyboard. Whenever you use this move with low health, there is a chance that a dark NPC will spawn to give you Tusk Act 3.
This NPC's chance of spawning will be extremely low for your first few tries, but if you do it over and over, the chance of spawning will increase until it finally spawns. Once he does, talk to him and he will reward you with Tusk Act 3.
Defense Act 4
When you're ready to continue to Tusk Act 4, return to Devil's Palm again and resume your search through the sandy debris. This time, keep an eye out for an even rarer item: the Eye of the Saint. This item only has a 2% drop chance, so it takes a while to find it.
Once you find it, locate the NPC Gyro just outside of Devil's Palm and speak with them. Their quest will be to bring them the eye item, so you'll be ahead of the game! After handing in the item and completing the quest, you will receive Tusk Act 4.
Switch between Tusk Acts
To switch between all your Tusk Act forms, just press the [ and ] buttons on your keyboard! This will scroll them back and forth.
