Many parents want to make sure their kids are safe while playing online. This can extend to the games they play, like Roblox. To ensure their safety, they may want to add restrictions to their account or ensure that they can monitor their actions. Here's what parents can do with Roblox controls.
Login and account settings
The first step you'll want to take is to log in to the Roblox account, where you can change account settings. You must know the login information to be able to make changes. Once logged in, go to the Security tab. This is located in the Settings feature on both platforms.
Configure PIN code
Once you are officially in the Account Settings or Security area, you will see a section called Account PIN. Toggle the button next to Account PIN is currently disabled. This will give you a window that prompts you to enter a PIN, then enter it again to confirm. Keep this PIN handy, as you will need it if you need to make any changes in the future.

Activate restrictions
After creating your PIN, look under Account PIN in Security Settings. You will see the Account Restrictions section. You'll toggle the option where the button is green and says account restrictions are on. This will disable the user's contact settings and only allow them to access curated content.
Other options
If the above settings are not ideal, you may have other options for parental controls on Roblox. You can use the blocking and reporting features for offensive or dangerous content. If the user is under 12, Roblox already filters content and moderates communication for that age group. You can also use third-party applications such as Google Family Link to monitor the user's site usage time.
