There are interesting Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Shield. One unusual creature you may encounter is Monorpale, a Ghost and Steel-type floating sword Pokémon. If you want to add something unique to your list, this Monorpale will make a great choice.
Unfortunately, you can only encounter this Pokémon in heavy fog. To encounter Heavy Fog, you have a chance to see him spawn sometime after the sixth Gym, but spawning in the game is difficult. However, after you beat the game and Heavy Fog officially unlocks, you have a higher chance of it happening in the Wild Area.
You have a very high chance of Oneblade spawning in the Hammerlocke Hills in heavy fog, so you want to check that location out if you can walk around there. You can also locate it as an exclamation mark, but there's a bit more luck since you don't know what you're encountering until you fight it and it only happens during a snowstorm in the same area.
At level 35, Monorpale evolves into Dimocles, remaining Ghost and Steel type. If you want to bypass any evolution, you have the possibility of encountering a Dimocles at the Lake of Outrage site during a snowstorm, but it is only seen in the grass as an exclamation point. Again, the chances are many.
Monorpale's latest evolution is the Aegisid Shield, which you can get after having a Dual Blade and giving it a Twilight Stone. It remains as a Ghost and Steel-type Pokémon.
