Catching a Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Shield, you must acquire The Pokéballs of all variants to catch them. Some of these PokéBalls specialize in catching specific Pokémon, giving you a better chance of adding them all to your collection.
You can find all varieties of PokéBalls throughout the Galar region. You start with the standard PokéBall, then move on to a large ball, then an ultra ball. These are your picks from the PokéBall picks, with each version giving you a higher chance of capturing your target. They unlock as you progress through the game, and you find them in the new towns you visit while continuing your story.
Some of these towns have specialized PokéBalls that you want to use for specific occasions.

You can find these PokéBalls in the cities mentioned. Go to the Pokemon Centers in town, and to the right of the entrance you'll find a Mart. Talk to vendors to browse their inventory. They should have plenty of PokéBalls available for sale. Later, due to the story of the game, you will visit a city, you can find the Great and Ultra Balls.
However, PokéBalls don't just show up in these cities. You can visit the watt vendors scattered throughout the Wild Area to pick up some. Unfortunately, their inventory changes daily and you need Watts to buy them. There are a few approaches you can take to get Watts into the game, but that's different from money.
