Google Chrome browser extensions like AdBlock also exist for the Roblox web client, aiming to further enhance the online experience. Although some extensions improve the Roblox client, we don't think the risk to your PC is worth it.
3 Reasons to Avoid the Best Roblox Browser Extensions
Roblox Browser Extensions are programs available on the Chrome Web Store that can be installed in Google Chrome. The two most popular Roblox expansions we've seen floating around are BTRoblox and Roblox+. Both extensions add customization features such as changing the look of the Roblox website and immediate notifications when a new item enters the Avatar Store, among many other features.
Although some expansions are created to improve the game, we don't think the risk outweighs the reward. At PGG, we have not tested extensions either. Here are three reasons why we think most Roblox players should avoid downloading them.
1. Potential viruses
Although the additional features of Roblox extensions are interesting and even useful, these browser extensions are created by third-party developers, many of whom are not affiliated with the Roblox company. Therefore, downloading such browser extensions carries the risks of downloading a virus.
Roblox scams are a real thing. Although some Roblox browser extensions are safe, the extensions are not properly verified. This means that downloading random extensions presents the risk of downloading a virus to your PC. The last thing we would want to see is a Roblox player losing their hardware, Roblox account, or even their hard-earned Robux to an unnecessary virus.

2. Roblox expansions don't make you a better player
Will These Roblox Browser Extensions Make You A Better Gamer? No, and they have no effect on your actual gameplay. This means that expansions have no effect on Roblox games. Instead, these extensions only enhance the Roblox web client to provide a slightly better experience, adding features that might otherwise seem missing from the Roblox client.
Note: Roblox expansions absolutely will not give free Robux players. Avoid these extensions at all costs!
3. The Roblox client is already good enough as it is
Overall, we like the Roblox client. Customize our avatar? To verify. Browsing the Avatar Store? To verify. Discover fun new games? Recheck.
Most Roblox players already benefit from the built-in features included by the Roblox company. Many won't need the missing features created by third-party Roblox browser extensions. And chances are the Roblox company is already testing these features for a future release anyway. As regular gamers, we think the Roblox client does the job.
