Ariana Grande's Rift Tour includes a huge pink slide and a huge teddy bear
Ariana Grande's Rift Tour event has officially begun in Fortnite. The female pop star's five-concert series begins Aug. 6 at 18 p.m. ET through Aug. 8. Her fans, the Arianators, can now enjoy an Ariana event from the comfort of their own home, given that Ariana hasn't headlined any major shows this summer. .
The in-game concert event kicked off by dropping Fortnite players onto a massive pink-dominated slide, where they can pick up certain items that give them the ability to go faster. As everyone descended the slide and began to pick up speed, “Come and Go” by Marshmello featuring Juice Wrld played in the background. From there, all players were transported to a huge teddy bear, also pink, where they bounced off. After that, players faced a giant crystal monster and they had to shoot it down on a plane. This all happened as a variety of songs played in the background.
This is when the screen has gone black and all the participants are seen gathered in a crowd. The in-game version of Ariana Grande then showed up and performed "7 Rings," which officially kicked off her part of the concert series.
This Fortnite event is certainly centered around Ariana Grande and her character, which only makes sense since it's her Rift Tour concert series. It reminded players of the Travis Scott concert that happened last year.
Fortnite players from different parts of the world will have several chances to participate in the interactive Ariana Grande concert and also get in-game rewards like an Ariana Grande skin. That said, Fortnite fans can get a Victory Royale as Ariana Grande. Her outfit and other cosmetics, such as Piggy Smalls, her pig back bling, can also be obtained from the Fortnite store.
