Moogle Medals are a collectible item that you can find throughout Final Fantasy 7 Remake. To find these items, just break every crate you see and open every chest you can find. You'll be overwhelmed with Moogle Medals in no time, but what exactly do you do with them?
The game is a little hesitant to tell you that, so we're here to tell you what to do. Moogle Medals can be used after encountering Aerith in the Sector 5 Slums. You will encounter Aerith throughout the campaign and will need to complete the "Mysterious Moogle Merchant" side quest when she spawns. She'll be disguised as Moogle in a secret hideout you'll discover in Sector 5. Aerith runs the Moogle Emporium, and she's willing to sell you some important items if you have enough Moogle Medals.

Some of these elements can be extremely important. Steel Claws are a weapon for Barret, and all volume items will give new skills to Tifa, Cloud, Aerith, and Barret. To get your hands on the items, you'll need to become a member of the Moogle Emporium, which will cost a single Moogle Medal.
You should be able to easily collect enough Moogle Medals just by playing to get all the items, make sure to break crates and watch out for chests. If you're worried you won't have enough, you can try farming them, as the crates will respawn each time you visit an area.
