Ditto is a very popular Pokemon, and it's no different in Sword and Shield. In this guide, we'll show you where to find the transforming Pokemon.
Where to find Ditto in Pokemon Sword and Shield
You can find Ditto at Lake Outrage, located on the map between Routes 5 and 6. Unfortunately, you can't head to Lake Outrage, as it's cut off by a river. You'll need to complete the sixth gym challenge and get yourself a bike that can cross water before you can get there.
The good news is that while Ditto isn't really a common spawn, it can be found on the universe map, and as a random encounter in the grass of that region. If you see exclamation marks coming from the grass, you should inquire as it may just be the same thing you are looking for.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that the weather influences what Pokémon will spawn, and Ditto will happily spawn in all weather conditions. Just head to Lake Outrage when you can access it, then scour the area for spawns. If you can't find a ditto, leave the area and come back to reset the pontoons and try again.
