Since the release of the first Age of Empires, cheats have been one of the most exciting parts of the game. Some people use them to cheat during campaigns, but most of us just used them for fun after complete the campaigns and see what kind of destruction we can cause. Naturally, many of us want to know what cheats and console commands we can use in the latest installment, Age of Empires IV.
There is both good and bad news about this. The downside: There are no cheats or console commands currently available in the game, so players who want to explore the generally ridiculous and explosive mechanics that cheats bring to the game can't.

On the bright side: it's only temporary. In an interview with Age of Empires developer Rock, Paper, Shotgun, World's Edge creative director Adam Isgreen said cheats will be available in-game after initial launch. Since Age of Empires IV is out now for PC, we can expect them to add developer-supported cheats to the game soon.
