SWS-10 is the first sniper rifle players unlock in Battlefield 2042. The weapon is perfect for long-range domination, but it can be adapted to be an athletic sniper. Here is a guide on how to create the best SWS-10 loadouts for two different usage scenarios.
Best SWS-10 2042 Loading Battleground
The best SWS-10 accessories for maximum reach construction are:
- Sight – M11 6x
- Ammunition – High Power
- Sous-canon - LWG Grip
- Barrel – Extended Barrel
Although the M11 6x provides optimal magnification, you can upgrade to SDB 10x on larger maps like Breakaway. Note that higher zoom affects downsight speed (ADS) more. Next, the high-powered rounds and extended barrel increase the weapon's maximum effective damage range.
But to take advantage of this, you'll have to sacrifice some of the weapon's reload speed, rate of fire, and recoil control. The LWG handle is not necessary, but it improves precision when stopping. You can instead use the ADR bipod if you intend to use the SWS-10 in the prone position.
Here is another SWS-10 loadout for quick ADS quickscope construction:
- Sight – Crow 4x
- Ammo – Close Combat
- Underbarrel – BCG Light Grip
- Barrel – Shortened Barrel
Raven 4x is a perfect sight for a class of quickscope. You can also use Shan 2.5x for even faster ADS at the expense of zoom level. Close combat ammo is critically important as it improves the sniper's handling stats.
It increases recoil control, reload speed, and rate of fire, which is desirable for a fast sniper setup. The BCG Grip under-barrel improves accuracy when on the move.
For fixing the barrel, you can use the 6KU suppressor for stealth and sound suppression. Otherwise, equipping the shortened barrel gives a boost to the rate of fire.
