FIFA 22 is set to release on October 1, so those looking to improve their football experience don't have long to wait. While the game has launched for most platforms, those on Xbox may wonder if FIFA 22 will release on Gamepass and if it does, when it will.
The answer is that it should be on gamepass in May 2022. This follows the trend of EA's FIFA games coming to gamepass. FIFA 20 was added in May 2021, so it would make sense for FIFA 22 to follow this trend and add it to the gamepass later next year.

If so, Xbox users may have to wait before they can start playing the latest football game on the big screen. EA is putting all of its sports titles on gamepass so that until they remove that feature, Xbox players can play the game, if at a later date.
EA may change its release model and add FIFA 22 to gamepass on launch day alongside EA Play. Regardless of when it's released or added to Xbox, FIFA 22 will feature preloading so players can jump right into the pitch on release. If possible, FIFA fans can try the game on EA Play while waiting for the gamepass to be released.
