Are you even a Viking without being tattooed from your fingertips to your neck? Well, fortunately, it is quite possible in the latest Assassin's Creed game to be able to get a tattoo, but only in the Nordic style, unfortunately. Don't expect anything extravagant! Get into the Viking spirit, put on your tunic and weapons and set sail for New England.
Assassins Creed Valhalla: How to Get a Tattoo
To get a tattoo in Assassin's Creed Vahalla, players must go to Svends and Tove's Tattoo Shop in Fornburg, although the Honor Bound story mission must be completed before they can go to the high seas!
Players need to complete the Honor Bound story mission in order to venture out to sea, and instead of going on missions and quests, it's more important to pose as a true Norse Viking. To do this, go to Fornburg and find the tattoo shop there.
To find the tattoo shop, look for a sign that looks like the number 8 as you explore Fornburg. Once found, talk to Svend; it will be either outside or inside. Interact with him and ask to see his tattoos, giving you access to his shop.
Areas where Svend can apply tattoos are:
- Head
- Apply tattoos to Eivor's face
- Chest
- Apply tattoos to Eivor's chest
- Return
- Applies tattoos to Eivor's back.
- Arm
- Applies tattoos to Eivor's arms.
Again, don't expect anything massively exuberant, but there's enough to make you feel like a Viking. We hope you can tattoo your mercenary for use in Assassin's Creed Valhalla multiplayer mechanics. Choose a zone or get one for each zone; we recommend the latter! This tattoo range can be increased by providing them with cosmetic schemes. We'll update this more when we know more!
What we find odd is that you don't receive any bonus hairstyles in any of the special editions of Assassin's Creed Valhalla when it releases in November.
