Hashtags are an essential component for browsing and creating video on TikTok. It can sometimes be confusing to figure out how to use or search for these hashtags, so we've got you covered.
Hashtags are pretty easy to use on TikTok, even if you have no experience with the app. When it comes to finding them, it's as simple as hitting the search bar (the magnifying glass icon) in the top right and typing in the one you're looking for. If you're trying to see more videos under a hashtag of a current video, click on the hashtag itself to bring up a page of videos using it.
Finally, if you want to use hashtags yourself, you'll need to create a video first, which can be done by tapping the Publish button (which has the + symbol in the center at the bottom of the screen). Once you're done creating your video, tap the hashtag symbol and type in whatever you want to add to your video's caption. Then you can post the video with the hashtags attached.
