The PKP-BP is one of the most dominant weapons among the various weapon classes in Battlefield 2042. Fast rate of fire and accuracy come at the expense of slow mobility, which is expected of a light machine gun . Here is a guide on how to create the best PKP-BP loadout and the four attachments.
Best PKP-BP Battlefield 2042 Loadout
- Sight – K8 Holo / Ghost Hybrid 1.25-2.5x
- Ammunition - Standard Issue
- Underbarrel – Factory Assemblies
- Barrel – Factory Barrel
The optical attachment is a personal preference and you can change it depending on the range of fights you are fighting. K8 Holo is a clean close range sight that you unlock first. Add the Ghost Hybrid into the plus system so you can use it when engaging ranged targets.

The default ammo on the PKP-BP is the high power/extended magazine. Swapping it for the Standard Issue magazine gives a huge boost to the weapon's recoil control, rate of fire, and reload speed. This accessory reduces the range, but the associated advantages cannot be overlooked.
There is only one option under the barrel and you cannot change it. As for the barrel, Factory Barrel is the best option. You can use the Tactical Compensator which improves horizontal recoil at the expense of vertical recoil. If you're okay with the base LMG recoil pattern, stick with the Factory Barrel.
