large wind
- Rarity: Chromatic
- Class: Support
- Speed: 720
Volley Brawl mode is all about landing that ball in enemy territory and Gale's Force! is perfect for this purpose. He can knock enemies away from the area and let that ball land without any interference.
His Spring Ejector ability is also effective against single targets trying to reach for the ball. Gale can push them through the air, frustrating their attempts to reach the ball. But you could also use it to propel your own teammates closer to the ball.
Gale is a real gift for this type of fashion. Be sure to use it if you can.
Franc
- Rarity: Epic
- Class: heavyweight
- Speed: 770
Gale's only real competitor is Frank. He is the only one who can disrupt Gale's game by using his active noise canceling gadget which makes him immune to Gale's strength! capacity.
Frank can also do a similar trick to enemies with his stun blow which stuns all enemies for a few seconds which is more than enough to drop your bullet on an enemy area.
Finally, he has the largest health pool of all brawlers, which can keep him alive for a long time and allow him to get the ball even when taking heavy damage.
Brawl Stars Volley Brawl Brawlers A-Tier
Lou
- Rarity: Chromatic
- Class: Support
- Speed: 720
Lou in many ways is similar to Gale and Frank.
He can use his Can-Do super skill which freezes the ground and prevents enemies from reaching your area or failing to protect theirs. He can also start freezing them one by one and making them useless for the time being while you or any other teammate claim the ball.
So why isn't it an S-Tier? Well, Lou has a low health pool and his gadgets aren't that great. But he's definitely a good addition to any team.
Deceased
- Rarity: Mythical
- Class: Dashing Assassin
- Speed: 820
Mortis is really good at only one thing, but that makes him a great brawler.
He can easily dash using his shovel swing, deal damage to an enemy player, and land the ball on the enemy area.
His great mobility allows him to do this trick again and again, and few brawlers would be able to stop him.
But other than that, Mortis is pretty mediocre compared to Gale and Frank.

Squeak
- Rarity: Mythical
- Class: Fighter
- Speed: 720
Use Squeak's Sticky Blomb and Big Blob abilities to take control of the enemy area by sending lots of small bombs that stick to brawlers and explode sending them flying out of the protected area.
Although Squeak's appeal is quite limited in Volley Brawl, his crowd control abilities can be very useful at the most important moments of the game.
Max
- Rarity: Mythical
- Class: Support
- Speed: 820
Max is a typical support character designed to help others win.
Use it Let's go! super skill to increase the movement speed of your whole team. The speed boost is quite significant, adding at least 30% to your teammates mobility.
Her gadgets can also do a good job, like bringing her back to the previous position. There may be instances where this ability can help you recover a previously lost ball.
Pic
- Rarity: Legendary
- Class: Marksman
- Speed: 720
Much like Squeak, this spiky brawler is all about crowd control.
All of his abilities use thorns in some way to damage or simply slow down enemy players.
His most useful ability is Stick Around! which does both of these things at the same time, which can be a good way to prevent enemies from getting the ball back in the area.
