Disney's first Dreamlight Valley update is titled Scar's Kingdom. There are plans to add the titular villain to the valley, along with other story quests to fix the broken pillar of the sunny plateau. Lots of bug fixes and optimization changes should be added as well. Here are some of the most notable.
Best Disney Dreamlight Valley Scar's Kingdom Fixes
- Improved stability and performance on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
- Improved the granting of Founder's Pack items in player mailboxes. This should help resolve some issues that have persisted. The team will continue to research additional fixes if players continue to experience issues.
- Improved Cloud Save system. In the event of a Cloud Save conflict, players will now be prompted by an in-game pop-up to select the save file they wish to sync with.
- Reduced the intensity of lightning storms.
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from picking up the bulb in WALL-E's house.
- Stone Soup is now recognized as cooked for players stuck in the “Spirits of Nature” quest.
- Fixed Memory Coins appearing in Scrooge's Shop counter.
- Wild crops (mushrooms, spices, etc.) will now respawn at a different location each morning. This means that crops that spawn in inaccessible areas will not remain inaccessible and will respawn in a new location each day.
- Rain now properly waters plants.
- Improved the area in which 'The Honored Place' fits in the quest 'The Ceremony'.

- Reduced the number of mushrooms required for Merlin's quests.

- Adjusted the placement of some floating islands in the sky.
- Campfires can now be crafted.
- Improvements and optimizations to trees in the sunny plateau.

- Improved navigation of water characters between bodies of water.
- Water characters are more likely to be attracted to the player when standing near a shore.
- Donald Duck has finally found his ground feet, reducing the duration of his temper tantrums.
- Water characters will now be able to swim behind Skull Rock instead of having to go inland to get from one side of the beach to the other.
- Fixed a lag spike that occurred when it started to rain.
- Rebalanced wood appears in different biomes to make it easier to get different types of wood.
- Inventory will now remain open when opening item and pattern bags.
- Improved clarity for which realms have been unlocked and which have yet to be unlocked in the castle.

- Mickey has an extra cracker recipe in his house waiting to be picked up for players stuck during the "Foodception" quest.
- Mickey will now wait for the player in his house during his initial gardening quest.
- Minnie
- Minnie has an extra flower pot in her house waiting to be picked up for players stuck during the "Language of Flowers" quest.
- The clock tower will now be recognized by Minnie without having to create another one.
- Moana
- Improved the area where “The Honored Place” fits in “The Ceremony” quest.
- Mother Gothel
- Fixed cases where the key was inaccessible in the Trust Glade
- Fragment of Dawn is now recognized as baked for players stuck in the "Restoring the Sunstone" quest.
- Scrooge
- Catfish can be found near the Dazzle Beach docks for players stuck in the "What's Bad for Business" quest.
- WALL-E
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from picking up the bulb in WALL·E's house.
- Mondial
- Fixed cases where characters could not talk to each other during “Listen” objectives.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Scar's Kingdom Furniture Edition Mode
- Meals, seeds, and flowers can now be properly placed on tables.
- Player house doors will no longer block certain objects like radios.
- Dishes can now be selected correctly when placed on a table.
- The chessboard can now be selected correctly when placed on a table.
- Furniture placed near the bridge in the plaza can now be selected correctly.
- Sunny Plateau Elephant Graveyard furniture can now be selected correctly.
- Items placed on the stand can now be selected correctly.
- Furniture placed near the Mystic Cave entrance can now be selected correctly.
- Fixed issues picking up items from the ceiling.
- The island of Maui can now be selected correctly.
