Gold bars are one of the most valuable crafting materials in the New World, but also one of the rarest and hardest to find items. You may have picked up some gold ore in the world and are wondering what to do with it. Well look no further!
Gold bars are crafted from five gold ores and two silver bars. Gold ore is collected from the overworld, while you'll need to craft silver ingots yourself. They require four silver ores.

Gold bars are made at the foundry. You will find smelters in any major settlement or outpost.

To craft gold bars, the smelter will need to be a level 4 smelter. You will need to have a level 50 smelting skill to craft gold bars. Composite Silver Bars will need to be crafted at a level 3 smelter, but you can craft silver ore at any smelting skill level.
What are gold bars used for?
Gold bars are used in high-level weapons, jewelry, furnishings, and other items. It is an essential ingredient in most mid to high level amulets, as well as a valuable and rare material.
