To resolve issues connecting to Battlefield 2042 servers, players will first need to attempt to end all processes for Origin and EA.
Start by closing the Battlefield 2042 app and opening the task manager. You can do this usually by pressing the ctrl alt and delete keys at the same time.
After pressing the three keys, you will then need to click on task manager at the bottom of the menu that will appear. When the task manager appears on the screen, look for both EA background service and EAdesktop services.

Then relaunch Battlefield 2042 and see if your connection issues have gone away. If the problem persists, repeat the same steps as before and terminate other EA services.
We also recommend that you end Steam or the Epic Games Launcher if you haven't already tried using the Task Manager. That said, after completing everything, fire up Battlefield and see if you can log in this time.
How to fix Battlefield 2042 console connection errors
If you're playing a console version of Battlefield 2042, there's not much you can do other than restart your system or game.
For this reason, we recommend that you restart the game first and then relaunch it to see if this method fixed the problem. If not, restart your system and try again.
But if Battlefield 2042 still won't connect, it's probably a connection error caused by a server issue on EA's side.
