Gang Beasts is a game where you fight against other players and teams in melee combat with your items. Your character's fists are their primary weapons, as you can use them to punch, block, and throw. For new players, the controls can be tricky. There are four stages to completing a throw in Gang Beasts.
These steps are all easy, and completing them is just a matter of pressing the correct buttons on your system. Here are the commands for each action on each system.
- Two-handed grip (facing the object/player you want to grab)
- PlayStation: Hold L1 + R1
- Xbox: Hold LB + RB
- PC: hold left click + right click
- Lift (raises the character above your head to prepare to throw it)
- PlayStation: Triangle
- Xbox: Yes
- PC: Shift
- Move: (moves your character while carrying the item/player)
- PlayStation: left analog
- Xbox: left analog
- PC: WASD
- Throw: (throws the item/player you're holding in the direction you're facing)
- PlayStation: version L1 + R1
- Xbox: LB + RB release
- PC: release left click + right click
For example, the control sequence for throwing on PlayStation would be: hold R1 + L1, press Y, move with left analog, and finally release R1 + L1.
