To craft Hewn Stone Blocks and Flint in Tribes of Midgard, you'll need to collect Stone through Stone and Flint Mounds and then talk to the Tinkerer.
Under the resource tab of the tinkerer, you will be able to craft carved stones at the cost of eight stones and six flints.
That being said, you can get the two resources you need for Stone Stone simply by exploring the world and picking them up when you come across them – both resources are also common in most parts of the game.
However, to get Stone Mounds, you'll need to craft at least one Flint Pickaxe first, as you won't be able to mine Stone and other resources in-game without one.
