New World will be released on September 28 on PC. New World is a highly anticipated MMO developed by Amazon, and as such, some gamers may be wondering if the game will hit console at launch or make its way to Xbox and PlayStation later.
The answer is no. New World will only be released on PC and no console launch is planned. New World's Twitter initially released a statement saying that if there were any plans to release the MMO on console, they would let players know. Since then, New World has confirmed that it will be PC only and has doubled down on what you can see below.

Many gamers are obviously unhappy with this, as not all gamers have a PC capable of running New World. On top of that, limiting New World to PC only restricts the playerbase and community to one platform. As MMOs thrive on community interaction, this could cause problems.
While there are no future plans for New World to be released on console, it's possible the success of the game will change that. No official statement like this has been made but it is possible. Until then, New World will only be available on PC.
