You're not bored of the Battle Royale genre yet, are you? Regardless of your answer to this question, Ubisoft has decided to throw its own take on the concept into the mix with Hyper Scape. This 100-player free-to-play online FPS is another battle for the top spot and is coming to PlayStation 4 in the near future, but you can check out the game in action right now on Twitch. The game immediately entered a closed beta phase on PC, which means various streamers are already doing some marketing for Ubisoft.
It appears to be a Battle Royale game that has a strong focus on futuristic technology and verticality throughout the city of Neo Arcadia. You'll start each match with just a melee weapon, with locally purchased pistols and landmarks housing the most wanted loot. Hacks act as perks and grant certain skills designed around attack, defense and movement – two can be held at a time as well as the same number of weapons. Hyper Scape seems to stick to the tried-and-tested formula of a successful Battle Royale title, save for its interesting inclusion of Hacks, but it's the fast-paced combat and navigation that really seem to set it apart.
