Glass has always been a tricky subject for Minecraft. Over the years, Mojang has tried to improve the aesthetics of its glass blocks, but it seems like someone always has to disagree with how it looks. We've rounded up some of the best glass texture packs for you to choose from to suit your style!
Most of the more advanced Minecraft texture packs require Optifine to be installed to work. We highly recommend installing it to improve game performance and visual effects if you want to use the resource packs listed below.
All the texture packs we have listed are updated to fit Minecraft version 1.16 and above. If you want to know how to install a texture/resource pack for your game, be sure to check the list for instructions.

Best Minecraft Glass Texture Packs
Below is a clearer description and previews of all the texture packs on our list. If there are addons associated with the resource pack, we will also mention them below.
clean glass
Clear Glass is a high resolution (128x) texture pack that makes your glass completely transparent. Blocks and panes have no border unless they touch the edge, making them look more like a square prism than a window or glass block. As you can see in the image above, it gives your Minecraft world a different hue if you look through any color. This texture pack is great for people who are usually always in their basic Minecraft.
Better connected
Better Connected is a texture pack that lives up to its name. It retains the basic look and feel of Minecraft glass, but enhances the look of connected frames. It keeps the frames outside the entire window, but still lets you see that there's a window in front of you.
Uniform glass
Uniform Glass is an experimental texture pack similar to Clear Glass. It's easier on your computer's graphics card than Clear Glass by being only 16x, but adds some fogging and has no outer bezels. Fog is considered a feature by its creator, as it works well with different lighting effects in-game and can make water look hazy when viewed from above. This texture pack is ideal for minimalist builders.
Framed panels
Framed panels add pizzazz to your windows in Minecraft. Instead of completely removing borders like most glass texture packs, this one enhances them to make your windows look better than ever with their own style for each color. This texture pack is perfect for players who like to theme their Minecraft bases, or for players who like accents on their building blocks.
Window doors
Windowed Doors is a simple texture pack that should work in tandem with all the other texture packs on this list. This does not change the glass blocks or glass frames, but changes the open space on the doors themselves. In this texture pack, you can see through all the different varieties of doors, instead of having your vision blocked in some of them. If you love seeing who's knocking at your door, this texture pack is perfect for you!
