Minecraft Dungeons launched just a few weeks ago, so naturally there are still some bugs to iron out. One of them involves Minecraft Dungeons getting stuck on the loading screen in the Nintendo Switch version. There have been discussions around how to fix the problem, with a common idea being that you need to delete your save data and start over.
Do not do that. We have a better solution with our Minecraft Dungeons stuck on Switch loading screen fix guide.
Minecraft Dungeons stuck on loading screen switch fix
Again, do not delete your save data. Instead, here's what to do.
- Launch Minecraft Dungeons in Airplane mode (i.e. wireless off).
- Go to the "Settings" menu of the game.
- While in airplane mode, select "Disconnect from all online play".
- Turn airplane mode off again.
- Go back to "Settings".
- Sign back into your Microsoft account.
This should fix the problem, according to a number of Reddit users who have experienced the issue since it started popping up over a week ago.
Some have reported that they fixed the problem by simply launching the game in airplane mode and then closing it once the screen asks if you want to play online or offline. But that doesn't seem like a coherent solution.
It's not quite as clear why this problem persists, although it seems possible that it could be caused by creating a Microsoft account linked to a non-Microsoft system for a game that doesn't technically have one yet. cross-platform play. Hopefully Microsoft will fix the issue soon.
