This tool allows you to get more precise amounts of what you need and only requires one resource at a time. How to Create a Stonecutter

To craft a stonecutter in Minecraft, you will only need an iron ingot and three stones. Sounds easy enough, but you need normal stones, not cobblestones, which can be a little harder to get!
We just need an iron bar, so we don't need a lot of ore. Caves and ravines are great places to find ore. Any open space that gives you a large area to explore makes it easier to spot. You can also see it on the side of a mountain or hill. If you can't find him that way, mine your way down, and you should eventually encounter him. It is one of the most common ores you will find in the game.
We just need a single iron bar to create the stonecutter, so smelt an iron ore in your furnace to get it!
So now we only need stone. You can achieve this in different ways. If you have a pickaxe with the Silk Touch enchantment, you can simply mine it to get it. Otherwise, the usual way to get it is by melting cobblestones in a furnace! You can get cobblestones by mining stones with any pickaxe. You will need three stones in total.
We have all the parts we need, all we have to do is follow the recipe! Place the iron bar in the middle of your crafting table and line the bottom with the three stones to craft yourself a Stonecutter!
