To craft blue dye in Minecraft, you will need to gather one of two materials from the game and place them in a crafting table.
The materials you will need to craft Blue Dye include both Blueberries and Lapis Lazuli. You can get blueberries by researching the flower forest or plains biome, and a blueberry will net you a blue dye.
To get lapis lazuli, you will need to dig deep underground and mine it with at least one stone pickaxe or more. This should get you around four to eight lapis lazuli per block. You can also get more resources if you enchant your pickaxe with fortune.

In fact, if you get fortune three, you can get a whopping 32 lapis lazuli per block, so we highly recommend getting this enchantment before trying to farm lapis lazuli.
That being said, once you gather enough resources, you can craft blue dye by placing either inside a crafting table.
Once you craft Blue Dye, you can then craft all kinds of items such as Blue Terracotta, Blue Dye Wool, and more.
