If you're wondering when the next Minecraft update will arrive, update 1.18, the answer is a bit later this year, around the holidays. However, if you were hoping for something more definitive, there is no specific date for Mojang Studios at the time of writing.
If we had to guess, it would be in the next few months. The release may be around December as it would align with their regular update schedule and pattern. That's still soon to be told, so we'll have to wait for an official announcement from the Minecraft developers.
But what exactly can we expect in patch 1.18? Well, for starters, if you're looking for something to do with the lush cave biome, all of that content will be added with 1.18.
