The weather in Minecraft can sometimes obstruct your vision and prevent you from doing various in-game activities. However, by using a particular command, you can circumvent this otherwise unavoidable problem.
How to Use the Weather Command in Minecraft
To change the weather in Minecraft you will need to use the cheat /weather command with an after phrase. But before you can use this command, you'll need to make sure cheats are enabled. To enable cheats, you will need to click on the option to do so when creating a new world.
For all platforms, the option to enable cheats will be in the same menu where you create a new world as shown above. You can also enable cheats from inside your game world by going to game options or opening the game in LAN.
Once cheats are enabled, you can use the following phrases listed below with the /weather command.
-
Clear: Typing /clear in chat or console command will stop rain and thunder and change it to sunny and clear.
-
Rain: typing /weather rain in chat or console command will cause the game to start raining
-
Thunder: Thunder typing/weather in chat or console command will cause the game to thunder.
