City Slam is a new game type in NBA 2K22 MyCareer that features 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 matches against NBA players in The City. The City Slam mode is exclusive to next-gen versions of NBA 2K22, so to play you need to go to the rooftops of The City and talk to Jackson Ellis. City Slam will be available when Season 3 launches on December 3 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
City Slam mode is a unique City game because it's single-player, so you don't have to wait for teammates and opponents. Your MyPlayer will face increasingly tough competition with chances to recruit opponents to your team. After eliminating all the competition and recruiting your ideal team, you can participate in the final City Slam tournament to win exclusive rewards, including a championship belt for winning the entire tournament.

Fans of the classic NBA Street franchise may find similarities between the new City Slam mode and Career in these titles. In these games, you play streetball against NBA teams and sign new players every game. The new City Slam mode should play like a park game, so there's a little mix of streetball with flashy dunks, passing and dribbling moves.

2K Sports hasn't revealed if the City Slam matches will contribute to Season Levels, but it should as they take place at The City. However, this is a single-player mode and these games did not feature season-level progression.
NBA 3K2 Season 22 is going to be a little cold for the holidays. Season 3, titled: Iced Out, features holiday rewards, new animations, new neighborhood decorations and a whole program of events for MyCareer.
