We've always known The Elder Scrolls VI is a game we won't be seeing for very long, but that still hasn't stopped fans from nagging Bethesda's Pete Hines about it. The next installment in the huge RPG franchise will be released after the publisher's new IP, Starfield, meaning news and details surrounding this sixth entry are still years away.
Hines clarified that in an overnight tweet, saying, "It's after Starfield, which you know next to nothing about. So if you ask me for details now and not years from now, I can't manage correctly your expectations.”

Pete Hines also explained that the unveiling of Starfield will come "one day". It doesn't look like Bethesda has any immediate plans to reveal its new game in space, which means we can say with a lot of certainty that Starfield is a PlayStation 5 game. The same goes for The Elder Scrolls VI.
You must be wondering why the Maryland-based company decided to announce the two RPGs nearly two years ago at its E3 2018 press conference when we're still no closer to hearing any more details about the game. project. We guess that puts an end to the fan base constantly asking where the next Elder Scrolls game is, but the PlayStation 4 generation has been completely devoid of a new title. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition no longer cuts it exactly.
