Upgrading a weapon in-game is relatively simple. For example, if a player wants to upgrade a weapon from gray to green, it will require 50 wood, 50 bricks, and 50 steel. Without it, players cannot get there, and the upgrade cannot take effect. It will also accumulate. If players want to go from green to blue, they will need 150 wood, 150 bricks, and 150 steel. You can expect higher numbers every time.
Players will endlessly want to pick up as many materials as possible if they don't get the best weapons in the game. Epic Games may have found a way around the random chance some players have on others if everyone can have access to a great weapon.
