Halloween has arrived Fortnite Chapter 2, with the Fortnitemares event. One of the new challenges is to search a chest in a ghost town, haunted forest and spooky farm. The Haunted Forest is easily accessible on the map. You need to head to Weeping Woods, and the Spooky Farm is Frenzy Farm.
The third is a little more difficult, as it is not a named location. Fortunately, we know where it is and this guide will help you find the ghost town.
Fortnite Chapter 2 – Where to Search a Chest in Ghost Town
The ghost town is in the north of the map, between Craggy Cliffs and Steamy Stacks. It is better to go there immediately after jumping from the battle bus. Be warned, however. This place is a hot spot right now as everyone is trying to complete their challenges. Land as fast as you can, head to the nearest house and hope it contains a chest!
Another thing to watch out for is that the map now has AI enemies! These strange zombies entered during the duration of the Fortnitemares event. They will rush you and try to hurt you, so be prepared to take them on. Shooting them can draw attention, so you'll have to decide if you want to risk taking damage and take them on in a good old-fashioned melee fight.
When you go through three chests in all three locations, you will gain experience. Doing so brings you closer to these great rewards from the Fortnitemare event.
