To celebrate Batman's 80th birthday this year, Fortnite is featuring the Dark Knight in a crossover event. Players will not only get the chance to wear plenty of accessories for the dark knight franchise, Titled Towers has become Gotham City. While Batman and Catman are the crossover's main attractions, his iconic rival, the Joker, makes an appearance. Here's how to find the Joker's gas canisters in the game.
Location of the Joker gas canisters in Fortnite
There are three locations in total that you need to find on the map. However, they do not have static spawns. Players will see them at points of interest on the map, based on the random locations they generate. Here are a few areas we've discovered so far, but there could be more. We'll update this page as we find them.
If none of these sites contain the bombs you are looking for, here are some tips for locating a bomb in a unique location.
- Listen for the beep. All bombs emit a soft beep and the louder they get the closer you will be.
- Check the middle of the point of interest. All of Joker's cans are usually located near the center of the location.
- Don't do them in one go. You're going to need to spend a few games locating all the bombs, so if you only find one you'll be fine.
Fatal Fields
The pleasant farms of this place are not safe from the ghosts of the Joker. The bomb you're looking for in this location is inside the large barn filled with all the hale balls. When you get inside, go straight towards the middle and you should find the bomb stored next to the circular hay bales, leaning against some pillars.
booty lake
When you get to Loot Lake, you'll want to be aware of the huge mess in the middle. Instead, you want to stick to the other side where the platforms are. Go to the second platform, right next to the one with the yellow railing. The platform you are looking for is to the south, next to a gray car. You will find the canister next to the gray car. When you approach it, disarm it.
pleasant park
You're going to find this box right in the middle of Pleasant Park. It's to the right of the soccer field. If you fly into it, go straight to the middle and look for the covered area with the four park benches. This spot seems like a great spot for a picnic, which might be why Joker planted one of his cans here. You'll find the canister right next to one of the park benches, closest to the grill. Approach him and disarm him.
salt springs
The final site is in a more densely populated area, with houses and city life all around. This is a deadly slot for the Joker cartridge. You want to stay northwest of the area. The cartridge is on the street, right next to the accident site, probably caused by Joker. There is a red car on the side with orange beacons surrounded by red and white warning signs all around. The Joker canister is next to the vehicle.
Shifty Shaft
It's a tricky place because of the many twists and turns you're going to encounter inside the mine. Look around to find the canister hiding behind one of the larger crates inside the mine shaft. To help you search, you're going to want to listen for the distinct beep of the bomb. The crate behind which the cartridge is located is the one that is right next to the large staircase leading to the mine.
Enjoy the Batman crossover event. The entire event ends on October 8, and you have until October 1 to take part in the challenges and get free items.
