Galactus puts the epic in Fortnite from Epic Games
Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 4, Nexus War, recently ended cataclysmically with the arrival of Galactus, which led to a battle between the planet eater and the Avengers who teamed up with Fortnite players to overcome the huge threat. This event offered players a mix of third and first person views, great voice acting for Marvel characters, and on-rails shooter like trench racing Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 starts later today and is available for free on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, mobile, Mac, and PC right now.
Following the Galactus event, Fortnite players are currently not allowed to play their favorite battle royale due to players teaming up with the Avengers to blast Galactus as he tries to absorb energy from the zero point located at The Ruins. Tony Stark took advantage of the countdown to Galactus' arrival to equip thousands of Battle Buses with lasers to defeat drones and explosives to fly into Galactus' mouth in an effort to defeat the Eater of Worlds.
The end of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4: Nexus War Galactus event resulted in a black screen similar to the black hole event that closed the game's first chapter. Luckily for Fortnite fans, the wait time is significantly shorter, leaving them around seven and a half hours to wait before the start of Chapter 2 Season 5. The official Fortnite Twitter account is teasing the new season with several cryptic text and audio messages, with some Fortnite content creators suggesting a Jurassic-style season to come later today.
