Media Molecule's latest game is what Dreams are made of. A game that gives you an almost unlimited number of options to bring your vision from your imagination to a game. The game has been in development for a long time, and it's great to see that there is already a fantastic amount of content from passionate creators, it's delicious.
Story-driven games are just one of the types of games you can create in Dreams. With this, you can offer cutscenes, dialogue, and a handful of other options to bring your story to life. Add to that a number of cool and crazy tools that allow you to make a great game to fit the content, Dreams is a really powerful tool for budding game creators, just like Little Big Planet was before.
That said, not all players will be as excited to watch cutscenes and dialogue as the creator intended them to be. Not everyone wants to enter Dream to play a new Metal Gear Solid (which of course was famous for the outrageous number of cutscenes). But how can you skip all the cutscenes and dialogue sections if you want to continue with the gameplay?
It's actually a pretty simple process. To skip cut scenes that you don't want to watch in a creator's game, while watching content, just press and hold the X button. Once held long enough, the game will give you a prompt asking if you want to skip this section. After confirming it, the cutscene or dialogue section of the game should be short and you can continue from there.
The game doesn't allow scenes to be skippable, so this should be a one-stop solution for any sections of cutscenes or dialogue that don't interest you, letting you skip sections of the story that don't interest you, and play the games you do.
