Puma isn't exactly a brand you would associate with video games. You really wouldn't associate fashion with video games at all. Despite what people think of Puma, think again. The sportswear titan has just released one of the most ambitious projects of the past 50 years. A game sock.

The new sock is called Active Gaming Footwear. The apparent target audience is believed to be eSports gamers or those aspiring to become professionals within their respected games. These socks can be used both indoors and in the area. Grip is essential when you take the stage to perform in front of millions of people.
To add to the squeak and confusion, according to Puma, the socks have four different modes that the user can "activate." These modes are search mode, attack mode, cruise mode and of course defense mode. But how do you activate a sock? Well, rounding up what Puma tweeted. It seems that these different “modes” are just different sitting positions.
Puma is a very well-known and respected brand, so the price of these new gaming socks is quite high. A pair is going to cost you around $160 (USD). But then again, being beautiful doesn't come cheap.
