Fortnite Update 2.55 – Version 11.50 – Patch Notes

Fortnite's latest patch, update 2.55, arrives today. While we don't have a full list of patch notes yet, we have Fortnite Community Issues Trello to help us gather information on the fixes and changes coming to the game. General Questions

  • Friend selection/scroll issue
  • Unable to select traps with a controller when the “Pick up” indicator is on screen
  • Getting stuck on loading screen after accepting invite before selecting game mode

Battle Royale issues

  • Refund may block entrance to lobby
  • Opening certain menus makes the chatbox inaccessible
  • Crash when selecting the controller settings menu, which may result in a blank controller layout.
  • Temporarily unable to move or do any other action after Emoting.
  • Delay in movement after using the movement key to exit inventory.
  • Players cannot disable parental controls.
  • Picking up a DBNO teammate when trying to switch to Pickaxe.
  • New console players may experience matchmaking issues when first logging into their account
  • Progress for “Earn Treasure Golds” Rippley vs Sludge Overtime Challenge not tracked.
  • Unsaved completion for the “Search Chests in Single Match” challenge.
  • Side-leveling feature present in competitive playlists.

Mobile issues

  • Change parental control issues
  • Mobile swipe feature can close app on players
