Call of Duty hosts various major tournaments throughout the year, whether it's the CDL Championship or the World Series of Warzone (WSOW). The 2022 World Series of Warzone is scheduled to run from August 12 through September 7 and has a total prize pool of $600. Here's everything you need to know about Call of Duty: Warzone's biggest upcoming tournament of the year.
How to participate in the World Series of Warzone 2022
The World Series of Warzone 2022 event is hosted by Amazon Prime Gaming. Participants will include content creators invited by Activision, players from Call of Duty League teams, and teams that qualified during the initial phase. The first stage of WSOW 2022 is the in-game opener, which anyone from the North America (NA) and Europe (EU) region can participate in:
- Go to the GameBattles NA or GameBattles EU webpage, depending on your region.
- Read the full tournament rules and click Create Team to enter yours and those of your teammates. You must register by August 15 at 18 p.m. PT, preferably by August 12.
- From August 12-15, you must enter the WSOW BR Trios playlist and try to score higher in every game. Your top 10 games will be counted after the in-game opening ends.
- The top 40 teams will advance to the qualifying round. If you are among the top 20 qualified teams, you will compete in the finals against professional Call of Duty: Warzone players.

Calendrier et format des World Series of Warzone 2022

As mentioned earlier, the World Series of Warzone 2022 will be held separately for two regions – NA and EU, each with a $300 prize pool. The tournament is planned in three stages for the two regions:
- In-Game Open – August 12 at 9am PT through August 15 at 9am PT
- Qualifications (top 40 teams from last stage)
- NA – August 21 at 12pm PT
- EU – August 20 at 9am PT
- Finals (20 qualified trio teams and 20 invited)
- NA – Sept. 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT
- EU – September 6 at 9am PT
WSOW will primarily be a Caldera Battle Royale Trios tournament with an additional single player match where the winner takes all the money. In the final round, five trios matches will be played and the prize pool will be $200. On the other hand, the winner of the “SoloYolo” game will pocket the $000 prize all to himself.

You can watch your favorite streamers and friends on any platform they will be live streaming i.e. YouTube, Twitch and Facebook. WSOW Qualifiers and Finals will also be streamed on the official Call of Duty Twitch channel.
The event also brings the World Series of Warzone Battle Pack available through Prime Gaming. Starting September 2, players can claim this bundle which contains an Operator skin, two weapon blueprints and more in Warzone and Vanguard.
