Fortnite is getting Boba Fett on Christmas Eve, just in time for the character's TV series
Fortnite players will be able to grab a Boba Fett skin for Christmas. Disney and Epic Games revealed during the former's online show, Disney Plus Day, that Fortnite players can step into the shoes of another Star Wars bounty hunter on December 24, which, at turn, is just Boba Fett's book time. , an exclusive new series debuting on Disney+ at the same time.
“Boba Fett will arrive on the island on December 24, 2021 at 19:5 p.m. ET,” the Fortnite developers announced on social media. The first bounty hunter from the Star Wars universe to join the popular battle royale game was The Mandalorian last summer during Fortnite Season XNUMX.
When The Mandalorian was introduced, Mando ended up being a huge hit among Fortnite players who were looking for something different around the island. Stalking people and trying to get that Beskar Umbrella was a lot of fun for Fortnite veterans. That said, it's safe to say that the developers may have prepared something similar for Boba Fett.
Nothing has been said about the upcoming crossover except for the official release of the Boba Fett skin. For now, all Fortnite fans must carry on with a hand-drawn image of the legendary bounty hunter. The Boba Fett model for the Fortnite crossover looks pretty much like the wild image taken from the latest episode of The Mandalorian series when Disney+ first revealed its plans for the upcoming new show.
“I can't say anything about it – sworn to silence,” director and filmmaker Robert Rodriguez said in an interview. “I can say that I'm working on it and I can tell you that it's going to amaze you. Rodriguez even referenced Boba Fett's arrival in The Mandalorian and said it was "nothing" compared to what they have planned for the character's own show. "I can talk about it all I want because I know it's going to deliver," he added. “I know it's going to be over-delivered. "
