The day before the event, Epic Games asked The Discord leakers not to spoil the Star Wars event. Fortnite YouTuber HYPEX shared a screenshot of the post on Twitter. Screenshot courtesy of Twitter user Jaren; According to Jaren, Epic's letter is forwarded to The people who disagree.
Don't ruin tomorrow's event! (I won't, if someone does.. I block them!)

The message asks the leakers not to divulge anything about the Star Wars event before it begins. They want to make the event "a truly one-of-a-kind spectacle, and allow players to experience it for the first time without any preconceptions or leaks."
Usually, companies go out of their way to send messages to fans and specifically ask them not to spoil the game. Companies are usually wise enough to realize that asking for such a request will fall on deaf ears. Epic Games' post even directly states that they are aware that "not everyone can accept this."
Epic Games likely sent these requests to avoid a legal nightmare for Star Wars owners, Disney, and Lucasfilm. Disney is known to be strict with its intellectual property, so who knows what kind of rights issue will arise if the massive Star Wars leaks go viral before the event actually happens.
That said, Star Wars isn't the first time Fortnite has crossed paths with a Disney-owned property. There have been skins based on Marvel characters previously released in the game. However, in these cases the crossover was purely cosmetic. At tomorrow's event, an exclusive stage will be unveiled to the world one week before The Rise of Skywalker opens.
