Fortnite Chapter 2 Week 9 challenges have leaked thanks to update 13.40, revealing what we're all up to as we try to get that sweet XP for our Battle Pass and get our hands on more items and of skins.
Each challenge is worth 35 XP, except the one where you have to kill 000 minions or marauders, which is worth 70 XP. All eight will give us a total of 80 XP when completed. They don't normally take very long to complete, and the theme for this season seems to be that the challenges are going to be pretty basic.
Now, keep in mind that these are leaks at the moment and nothing will be confirmed until the challenges go live in-game on Thursday, August 13th.
- Search chests in Pleasant Park (0/7)
- Eliminations at the Fortilla (0/3)
- Refuel a vehicle at Catty Corner
- Stoke Campfires au Camp Cod (0/3)
- Collect metal from metal at Hydro 16 (0/200)
- Eliminate Henchmen or Marauders (0/7)
- Eliminate minions or marauders (0/70)
- Search ammo boxes in Misty Meadows
It's worth noting that the current challenges are subject to change between leaks and the launch of the in-game challenges. We'll update this list as soon as the challenges are released to make sure they're accurate, and we'll have plenty of guides to help you meet them. We also assume that the challenge to kill 70 henchmen and marauders will be one of the new “Rec: 4 Player” challenges.
