With Fortnite update 14.00 available to download right now, you might be wondering about the patch notes. As always, Epic has yet to release any and are unlikely to release any official patch notes. Luckily, we have the Trello Community Issues to draw on to create some sort of patch notes.
The patch notes below are just the tip of the iceberg, as this patch will be vault and safe weapons, adding all sorts of new mechanics, hopefully bringing changes to the map, and more.

General
- Rectangle and multiple lines of text appearing on HUD – A rectangle and multiple lines of text (mostly the word “Disabled”) may appear in the upper left corner of the HUD.
Royal battle
- Water Balloon Toy Temporarily Disabled – Due to an issue, the Water Balloon Toy is temporarily disabled.
Mode Creative
- Crash on consoles when renaming a device – When playing on the console, renaming a device will cause the game to crash.
Save the world
- PS4 trophies not awarded correctly
Mobile issues
- Symbols in Player Names and Creative Hubs on Nintendo Switch – We are investigating an issue that is causing performance issues for Switch players when interacting with players or Creative Hubs that include symbols.
