Relive every success
Everyone loves a package. Previous game collections in one neat package, like Master Chief Collection, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Final Mix. If you feel like you missed a series, a compilation is always a great way to dive into it. The new Hitman Trilogy will take recent Hitman games and put them all into one game.
IO Interactive has announced that the Hitman Trilogy will contain all three games in the World of Assassination series; Hitman (2016), Hitman 2 (2018) and Hitman 3 (2021). This pack will be available next week.
That's a little odd, because one of the cool features of Hitman 3 was that you could revisit any of the locations from the previous two games. Now you can simply jump to the correct mission in the collection for all original missions.
With this news comes more details on the future of Hitman 3. There will be a new twist on the Elusive Target mode called Elusive Target Arcade. There will also be a mode called Freelancer, where players will explore a whole new area called the Safehouse and customize their experience however they see fit.
Hitman VR will also be coming to PC. This VR option will support all games in the Hitman Trilogy, not just Hitman 3. Later this year, IO Interactive will unveil a new map currently known only as "Rocky". Otherwise, all of the above will be released next week.
Hitman Trilogy will be available on January 20 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass from day one.
