To install workshop mods on your Project Zomboid server, you will need to either edit a server file or manually activate them in-game. If you want to activate the mods manually, you will need to locate the server settings option in-game .
You can find the settings by clicking on the host option in the main menu. Once you click on the host, you will then need to click on the manage settings option as shown below.

After clicking on manage settings, you will then need to select your current server and click on change settings. Clicking on change settings then takes you to an extensive list of server options. You can activate and install the workshop mods in this list by clicking on the Steam Workshop option.

Under the Steam Workshop option, you will be able to manually install and activate Workshop mods by enabling them through the Add installed workshop item to list option.

But if you want to add non-Steam workshop items, you will have to use the mod option and click on the add installed mod by ID option to the list.
How to manually install Workshop items in Project Zomboid
The next method to install the Workshop items is to find and edit the server ini in the Project Zomboid folder. That said, you can find the server folder by locating it on your main hard drive, as shown below.
- C:Usersvotrenompc:DZomboid
Inside this folder, find a folder called server and find your server's configuration file. When you find the configuration file, open it in a notepad and look for two settings, mod and Workshop.
Under the Workshop setting, you'll want to add a mod's Workshop ID as shown below, followed by a semicolon.

If you don't know how to find a workshop ID, you can usually find it by going to the mod's workshop page and finding it in the mod's description, as shown below.

Now for the other setting you need to change, you will need to add the mod name followed by a semicolon as shown below.

You can also find the mod name ID by searching for it in the mod description on the mod's Workshop page.
When you are done modifying the file, simply save the configuration and restart your server, and the mods will be installed.
