In some ways, Skate 3 just can't be beat when it comes to fun. While there have been more skateboarding titles recently added by independent developers, Skate 3 gives you that good old experience of stick controls and ridiculous missions like Hall of Meat Mode. Not to mention that there are awesome problems! So here's how to do the speed problem.
Speed Glitch Tactics
Many gamers call this the Insane Speed Glitch, and trust us when we say you can get serious speed with this thing if done right! However, it's not always the easiest to do, but with practice it can yield impressive results. Follow these instructions to do the speed problem:

- Stand back, away from the direction you want to accelerate.
- Ditch your board (i.e. don't stand on it or hold it).
- Press X on Xbox or Square on PlayStation to jump
- Then, at the top of your jump, press RB.
- After that press Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation.

Since this is a glitch rather than a cheat, it is very temperamental. So don't be discouraged if it doesn't work the first time; because it probably won't!
Once you get the hang of it, you'll have another world of play that will open up to you only because of the outrageous distances and heights you can travel! ! . There are different levels of speed achieved with the glitch which are not predetermined by anything, so you may need to do it multiple times to get your desired speed.
Try using it before hitting the ramps and bumps to get some good airtime too! Although if you climb too high the game will automatically respawn you at ground level where you started, but once done correctly you can pretty much fly through the air! . . You can also do some pretty sick tricks, but you usually won't be able to land them because, you know... height kills humans.
Have fun racing your skater around Port Carverton at breakneck speeds! Need a little more help with Skate 3? Why not find out how to plant by hand.
