Genshin Impact is full of achievements, and some of them will only reveal themselves when you explore parts of the map. If you've been through the very mountainous region of Quigyun, you might have come across a strange little monolith there, or maybe a crane statue.
These are actually tied to an in-game achievement, a pretty cool hidden area, and lots of loot. You can find the location of all the crane statues on the map below, and you will need to visit and interact with them. This will spin it around a bit, so keep spinning it until it's facing the mountain with the small monolith on it, marked on the map with the player icon.
As soon as you place it the right way up, you'll see a small cutscene and a line of energy will stretch from the statue to the monolith. When you get all three, return to the monolith and interact with it to cause a large whirlwind of wind.
Take out your glider and ride the wind upwards, then look for stone platforms. Go through them and then repeat the process until you come to a floating island at the top. Up there, you'll find a Geoculus, three chests, two of which are luxurious, and a bit of history.
It's a fun little challenge, well worth completing, considering the amount of loot you can get from it. It will also be a mandatory achievement if you want to get all the Geoculus in the area.
