something is fishy
It's time for new exhibits at the Megaquarium. Twice Circled's aquarium tycoon game, Megaquarium, is getting its first expansion: Freshwater Frenzy. A press release on the extension provides more details. The expansion will bring a host of new features and content to the aquarium tycoon game.
In Megaquarium, the player runs their own aquarium-based theme park. As a manager, it's up to you to take care of your exhibits, take care of your fish, manage your staff and more. Plus, you decide what goes in which exhibit. The Fresh Water Frenzy extension adds even more to amaze your guests.
Along with the announcement, Megaquarium also released a trailer. The trailer shows off some of the new content and how it interacts with gameplay.
“Freshwater Frenzy is full of new species to discover. There are new care requirements to learn and new aquascaping requirements to complete as well! says the press release.
In addition to these new features, the press release is pleased to announce the introduction of baby animals. Raising baby animals also allows for new requirements and mission objectives for breeding. It will not be an easy task for the player as raising babies is never easy. Additionally, new tank designs are needed for the introduction of reptiles, tanks that feature both soil and water.
The Freshwater Frenzy expansion arrives January 25. Currently, the game is available on Steam but the developer plans to expand it to consoles.
